Dixit Kids
Together, embody the postmen of Rabbitland and deliver all the birthday party invitations.
This cooperative version of Dixit, adapted for younger players, invites them to choose and interpret images.
In each round, one player acts as the Head Postwoman and chooses an illustration representing a guest's emotion. She places the chosen card face down: this is the Invitation. The other players, acting as Apprentice Postmen, must deliver their mail to the second rabbit in the Burrow, the one not chosen by the Postwoman. They all choose a card that matches the mood of this second rabbit and place it face down on the Invitation. The Head Postwoman then takes all the cards, shuffles them, and turns them face up. The Apprentice Postmen must find the Invitation, which is the outlier card whose image does not match the others. In the next round, they move to another burrow, and another player takes on the role of the Postwoman.
