Vendetta is an asymmetrical strategy, bluffing, and deduction card game set in the World of Darkness, a universe similar to our own, but darker, veiled in shadow. You play as a vampire plotting and seeking the support of influential allies to take control of Chicago.
At the beginning of the game, you choose a clan. Then, you progressively build your hand of cards over three rounds, allowing you to unfold your strategy... while adapting to that of your opponents. In each round, you play cards and blood in one of the city's locations to increase your strength for upcoming conflicts. You can play your cards face up or face down, allowing you to bluff and deceive your opponents.
At the end of a round, you resolve conflicts in each location, one by one, by revealing all cards and applying their effects. The player who has gained the most power takes control of the ally located in that place, who will provide them with blood each round, as well as new abilities and valuable influence points. But be vigilant: even if you win a conflict, the losers can turn on you. If you run out of blood, you will enter a frenzy and have to drain one of your hard-won allies! Be careful not to succumb to diablerie...
At the end of the third round, the player with the most influence wins the game... and becomes the new Prince of Chicago!
