During the summer of 2018, Scythe fans worldwide were invited to share their ideas for new content to create 32 brand-new Encounter cards, to be integrated into the base Scythe game.
This resulted in a surge of creativity and ideas that Jamey Stegmaier distilled, refined, and arranged to turn this successful participatory operation into a reality!
Thus, these 32 new cards were created, introducing a number of innovations to the encounter system.
