Long before the era of Geralt of Rivia, the Old World was populated by numerous monsters, and the community of Witchers traveled across the continent to hunt them down.
This community was constantly seeking new Witchers, and five schools competed to train the best recruits and gain prestige.
In the board game The Witcher: Old World, you are a Witcher, and you will travel the continent to hunt terrifying creatures. Experience many adventures, fight monsters, and sometimes even other Witchers to defend your school's honor.
You must make tactical and sometimes difficult choices throughout your journeys. The game offers missions and quests where you can test new techniques, acquire weapons and items to develop your skills.
Each school has its unique characteristics, and your character has their own powers. It's up to you to define their abilities well using a card deck-building system.
The first player to win 4 to 6 trophies (the quantity is decided at the start of the game) wins the game immediately. Trophies can be earned by killing monsters, starting and winning unruly tavern brawls with another Witcher, maximizing attributes, and completing specific missions during your adventure.
Playing The Witcher: Old World means experiencing an epic gaming adventure lasting 1.5 to 2 hours, where you'll fully immerse yourself in the world of The Witcher, a video game now adapted into a TV series and a major board game.
