Objection! is an asymmetrical two-player card game that invites you to participate in a trial in the American judicial system: one player will embody the noble Prosecution and the other the unshakeable Defense. Each game begins with the Discovery phase, during which players choose crucial evidence to support their case and bury evidence that could help their opponent.
Next comes the Trial phase, during which players call witnesses to the stand, craft powerful arguments, and confront them with patiently examined evidence. To form a coherent cross-examination, players will have to chain their cards by matching Prejudice symbols.
The player who cross-examines the witness best will generate the most Influence, which they can spend to sway the Jury to their side. Each game is different, with each Case bringing specific mechanisms, but the lawyer with the best brief and the most convincing arguments will be sure to get the verdict they are looking for!
