In My friends are... there is a referee and two teams: reds and blues.
The referee takes the hourglass, the six tokens, and draws a card. He starts the round by reading the beginning of a search, e.g.: "How to pretend to..." and then flips the hourglass!
Players then have 40 seconds to verbally give as many sentence endings as possible, with no imposed order. As soon as the referee hears a valid suggestion - close to a suggestion on the card - he places a token in front of the player concerned. Example: if a player says "to work hard", it can be validated because it evokes the suggestion "to work".
Each token won moves the team's pawn forward that many spaces on the side of the box. Bonus: a token won thanks to a suggestion marked with a smiley by the game's authors counts double!
The first team to reach the Victory square wins the game!
