You start the game with 7 cards in hand and must get rid of them as quickly as possible. The other cards form the draw pile. One card from the draw pile is turned face up in the center of the playing area. The first player must then play a card that matches the one in the center of the table. Matches are made either by number or by color. The first player to have no cards left wins the round. But beware, when you only have one card left in your hand, don't forget to shout UNO, or you'll have to draw more cards! And to spice up the game, special cards have actions that will help you win: +2 or +4 cards, reverse or wild cards, and skip cards.
