Every year, in spring, millions of monarch butterflies leave Mexico to migrate to North America. In autumn, millions of new monarchs return to Mexico. But none of them make the round trip.
Mariposas is a movement and collection game that invites you to be part of this incredible journey. It is played over three seasons. Generally, your butterflies will head north in spring, spread out in summer, and return south in autumn. At the end of each season, a scoring takes place. To win, you must successfully advance your group of butterflies through the seasons and thus earn the most victory points.
