The Werewolves return!
Despite the villagers' efforts to unmask the lycanthropes among them, the village of Thiercelieux has been devastated by the werewolves. The ferocious creatures now haunt the hamlet, and the villagers barricade themselves in their cottages, making sure none of their own venture out after nightfall. How good it is to be the idiot from time to time...
Yet, a glimmer of hope remains. Hidden deep in the moors, the resistance is organizing and preparing. New characters with promising talents have joined the fight against the terrible werewolves, so all is not lost, but the struggle promises to be fierce because the new moon is here!
New Moon is the first expansion for the game The Werewolves of Thiercelieux. Under the watchful eye of the Game Master, players will portray villagers from Thiercelieux. Among them lurk werewolves; each night, they devour a victim, and it is only in the morning that the survivors try to unmask the lycanthropes. Among the villagers, special characters enhance the game's interest.
In New Moon, five new characters make their appearance: the village idiot, so endearing in his naivety, the elder who has victoriously overcome life's terrible trials, the scapegoat who is always a victim regardless of the situation, the savior who can protect from werewolf bites, and the piper seeking to enact his terrible revenge. The expansion also introduces event cards which, with each game turn, will change the course of the game.
To enjoy The Werewolves of Thiercelieux even more, nine mischievous variants are included to renew the game's atmosphere.
