In the game The Wolf Clan, each player embodies a pack of wolves and tries to dominate the other packs at each new stage of the lunar cycle. Moving, hunting, building a den, recovering lone wolves or wolves from other packs are all actions that will allow you to establish your control over different territories. And with a clever tile-flipping mechanic, you can anticipate and prepare your actions!
Assemble the landscape tiles and place your first clan members; the game can begin.
The law of the strongest reigns as you attempt to create the largest and most powerful pack by claiming territories, rallying lone wolves to the Alpha, and hunting prey. But be careful not to expand thoughtlessly into territories where rival clans thrive, or your pack members might change allegiance! The corners of each tile indicate what type of terrain is on the reverse side. During your turn, flip identical double-sided terrain tiles to perform your actions (move, hunt, dominate, build a Den or Lair) and thus anticipate subsequent actions. Progress through different regions and improve your pack's abilities on your personal board. All removed elements are added to the Lunar calendar, symbolizing the passage of time.
At each new lunar cycle (Crescent, Quarter, and Full Moon), a scoring of points is performed in the relevant areas: players who are dominant in these territories (most wolves present and most Dens or Lairs built on that tile) score the most points. The player with the most victory points at the end of the full moon cycle is declared the winner!
