Surviving the arctic winter and the undead was already a challenge in itself. Now, the colonies are also at war! Because, obviously, the resources needed to see another day are limited. Only one camp will prevail: their objectives are common! As if the survivors needed that...
To spice things up a bit, a new combat system and an hourglass will punctuate this race for subsistence. Crisis cards and rotations will push players to cooperate... or escalate hostilities!
Finally, an independent module, Lone Wolf, allows one player to sneak into the melee, alone, hidden, with their own objectives, which will impact both competing camps.
To play either the Warring Colonies variant or the Lone Wolf module, you will need Dead of Winter and Dead of Winter: The Long Night.
