3 Awesome Words
In this party game, your partner must guess the secret word written on your card. To do this, write 3 clue words, without your opponents guessing them, because they also know the secret word... Be clever, avoid words that are too obvious, but don't be too obscure either, or your partner won't find the secret word! Earn points by writing clever clue words and by figuring out what the other team has written. The more points you earn, the faster you advance on the Owl Track. The first team to reach the finish line wins.
How to play 3 Awesome Words?
The starting team chooses their writer and their guesser. The writer, and players from the other teams, discover the round's secret word on the card. The writer then secretly notes down 3 clue words on the answer pad. Meanwhile, the other players try to guess which clue words the writer will use, and they write down their 3 hypotheses on their sheets. The writer then reads their words aloud to the guesser, who will try to guess the secret word. Be careful, they only get 1 suggestion. The other teams then reveal their clue words and check if any match those of the writer.
The more the teams' clue words match those of the writer, the more points they score. Conversely, the more creative the writer has been while helping their guesser find the word, the further their owl will advance towards the finish line!
