To win at Yoxii, you must have more points than your opponent around the Totem when it is completely surrounded and immobilized. Be careful, you can jump over your pieces to go where the terrain is favorable to you.
Each player in turn moves the totem to a free space and then places one of their pieces around the totem's new position.
The pieces are divided into 4 values: O is worth 1 point, II is worth 2 points, Y is worth 3 points, and X is worth 4 points. The player with the highest total points when the totem is completely surrounded wins the game.
Be careful, players can jump over their own pieces and position themselves where the terrain is favorable to them. Anticipation is key in this game where everyone will find their own style, strength, and tactic. The opening of the game is very strategic, and the endgames are more combinatorial.
