Dodging blows is often easier said than done! Who will discard most skillfully to become the best cowboy in the West?
Game Goal: Collect the fewest penalty points possible by avoiding winning tricks that contain the symbol that inflicts the blows!
Mechanism: Wild Shot is played in 4 rounds of 10 tricks. The "score card" indicates which symbols to avoid during a round and how many penalty points are collected each time one of these symbols is picked up. At the beginning of each trick, a new Snake Oil card is drawn, which then indicates the trump suit for that trick. The starting player plays a Wild Shots card from their hand, then each other player also plays a card, trying to avoid winning the trick if it contains the penalty symbol. When each player has played their 10 cards, the round ends. Then, a new round begins. The game ends after the 4th round.
