In Royal Visit, you and your opponent must compete strategically to lure the King into your Castle, thereby gaining royal favor. The King is accompanied by his Court, including the Guards, the Jester, and the Fool, all starting the game on a path connecting your two castles.
On your turn, play a card from your hand to move the Characters, or use the powers of the Fool and the Wizard to influence the position of the King and his Court. You can then advance the Crown between your two Duchies, depending on the position of each character.
Each character, in fact, has its own movement constraints, and the final position of the characters directly influences that of the Crown! The first player to get the King or the Crown into their Castle immediately wins the game!
