Unmatched is a skirmish game that pits iconic characters against each other, each with their own fighting style, strengths, and weaknesses. The base game features four heroes, but numerous expansions allow for even more diverse battles.
The first Unmatched box allows you to play as King Arthur, Alice in Wonderland, Medusa, or Sinbad the Sailor. Each character comes with ally tokens, and especially their own unique deck of cards, offering many particularly effective combos.
Explosive Asymmetry
In each turn, players must perform two actions out of three available. Moving miniatures on the game board, attacking, or playing schemes: actions are dictated by the cards in your hand. These allow you to attack, defend, or activate special abilities related to your hero powers. Alice can grow or shrink, Medusa can petrify her opponents, etc.
Fast and Tactical
The confrontations are as fast as they are fierce, with fluid and intuitive gameplay. Each player must find the best placement on the battlefield to be able to attack the opponent in melee or at range. Attack and defense cards are played face down, and damage taken can be modified by the text of the cards played. The suspense is therefore total until the cards in play are revealed, always a moment of great tension.

With its four iconic characters and double-sided game board, Unmatched offers unique gaming experiences, allowing players to experience the intensity of skirmish gameplay in a much more compact and accessible format. Offering immediate fun and allowing players to discover heroes' abilities as battles progress, Unmatched generates ultra-intense and always varied games.
The many announced expansions (Bigfoot and Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes, etc.) will also bring their share of new features, for even more varied, high-adrenaline battles.
