In this hidden role treasure hunt game, will you be a pirate or a mutineer?
In this game, you'll embody either a Pirate determined to fill the crew's chest, or a cunning Mutineer seeking to sow chaos and sabotage the collection. The ship will become the stage for an exciting confrontation between the two sides!
Game rules:
In the game Traitors Aboard!, at the beginning of the game, you secretly discover whether you are a pirate or a mutineer. In turn, contribute to filling the chest or throw a wrench in the crew's plans. The pirates win the game if they manage to sufficiently fill the chest or if they manage to push all the mutineers overboard. The mutineers win the game if they manage to prevent the crew's collection or if they manage to push enough pirates overboard.
Heated discussions, pointed questions, and sharing information – the heart of the game lies in player interaction and communication. Will you manage to identify your (true) allies and your (false) friends? Or will you have the nerve to engage in treachery? Throughout the game, make sure to constantly discuss, question, and share information (true or false), including about the cards in your hand (without ever showing them), with other players in order to coordinate or betray them at the right time.
And don't hesitate to tactically use the Item cards aboard the ship to ensure victory. And beware, time is running out and innocent people could be pushed overboard…
