Timeline is a fast-paced and fun card game with very simple rules. With family or friends, have fun placing the cards in the timeline. Use your knowledge or intuition! Whatever the players' skill level, twists and surprises will ensure you have a great time playing with time.
In the Timeline game, all players receive the same number of cards representing different events. The back of each card shows a date. A randomly drawn card from the remaining cards is placed in the center of the table with the date face up. It forms the starting point of a chronological line that will gradually be completed by the players.
The first player chooses one of their cards. If they believe the event on their card occurred before the initial card's event, they place their card to the left of it. If they believe their event occurred after, they place their card to the right of the initial card. The player's card is then flipped over, date side up. If they are correct, it stays in place. Otherwise, they discard their card and must draw another to replace it. The game continues clockwise. The more cards are placed, the harder it is to place new ones without making a mistake! If at the end of a round, only one player has no more cards, that player wins the game.
