The Shadow Theater
Welcome to the legend of the Monkey King, one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature! Discover emblematic locations from the novel: the Emperor's Palace, the Celestial Garden, and the Dragon's Lair, thanks to the superb box that also serves as a Chinese shadow puppet theater set for the game!
Two players compete to collect the most Peaches of Immortality to feed their monkeys, while moving the Monkey King, using the Dragon's weapons, and collecting Jade stones.
A "worker placement" (monkey) game for two players, competing to see who is the cleverest and uses the right weapons at the right time to get the most points at the right time.
On each of your turns, play one of your Weapon cards, if you wish, then place a monkey and perform the action of the location where you place it, or take all the monkeys present at a location. As soon as a resource is empty, the round ends and points are counted. Win two rounds to win the game.
