In Sonic Super Teams, each player leads a team of two runners selected from the most iconic characters in Sega's Sonic franchise.
The goal of the game is not to cross the finish line first, but to be the first to have both of your runners cross the finish line (with 4 players, you play in teams of 2, each with 2 runners). To do this, you have a hand of 6 Movement cards that you must all play. Yes, but they're not just yours! All players' cards are shuffled and then randomly dealt. It's up to you to advance an opponent at the right moment to send them onto spikes, or to move your own character to give them a double move on a Ring space!
