You are the leader of villagers who have discovered new lands. Using powerful artifacts, you will explore terrains, hunt monsters, construct buildings, and create fortifications.

In the game Settlement, you must efficiently manage villagers and resources. The goal of the game is to score as many victory points as possible by the end of the last round.
On your turn, you can invite a hero or use one of your villagers to perform one of these seven actions:
1. Build a building
2. Explore a terrain
3. Hunt a monster
4. Build a fortification
5. Activate a region
6. Activate a street
7. Activate a fortification
On your turn, if you have the necessary resources, you can spend them to invite a hero to your settlement. Heroes are useful as they earn you victory points. Sometimes, a hero's score depends on your buildings, terrains, or fortifications; some heroes also provide you with additional villagers. You can pass immediately after taking your turn if you are ready to end the current round. If you cannot do anything on your turn, you must pass. Take a new artifact from those available, then return your old artifact. Once all players have passed, the round ends.
The player who scores the most points has successfully established the most prosperous settlement and is declared the winner.
