Santorini is a game that combines simplicity and depth. Your goal is to place one of your two workers on top of a building. Each turn, you must move one and build a building block on one of the adjacent squares. Watch a city rise quickly on the board, just like the island of Santorini!
To climb the constructed floors, simply move onto them, level after level. To prevent a player from reaching the third level, you can place a blue dome on it during construction. Simple? Perhaps, but the 25 squares on the board (in 3 dimensions!), the two workers per player, the three possible construction levels, all the possible ways of blocking, all this allows for an incredible number of strategies. Games can be played repeatedly without ever being the same!
Once the mechanics are mastered, bring in the Gods! You can call upon divine favors to profoundly change your way of playing. 30 Gods are available, with as many powers and ways of playing.
