Intrepid adventurers have set sail on a formidable journey. After a terrible storm, they find themselves in the surprising refuge of a sea monster. This place is full of strange objects (lanterns, pistols, grappling hooks...).
The Captain allows the crew to search the premises on the condition that they bring him their findings. But each of them, by bluffing the Captain, will try to keep the best pieces of the loot for themselves. In the end, the richest adventurer is declared the winner.
Mechanics
An adventurer's turn:
On their turn, an adventurer must draw a Loot card and offer it to the Captain, telling him what it is, often by lying. Indeed, some findings are "cursed" and adventurers cannot name them. If the Captain doesn't buy the card, the player can use it against another adventurer, who may then expose their bluff.
An asymmetrical role: the Captain
The player embodying the Captain decides whether to leave the players their findings or buy them from them. His position also protects him from attacks from other players. But this role of Captain is temporary, and any adventurer richer than him can become Captain in their turn.
