Moonlight – Le Territoire des Loups is a confrontational game exclusively for 2 players. You play as a pack of wolves seeking to take control of a territory: the Mountain.
Each player has 3 Wolf cards in hand. In turn, they place a card in a play area that cannot exceed a 4 by 3 grid.
To place a card, there are two possibilities:
- Place it in an empty space, orthogonally adjacent to an already placed card.
- Cover an opponent's Wolf card with a card of immediately higher (consecutive) value.
Each Wolf card has: a Value, a Moon, a Scoring Power, a Majority Power.
The total Values of each pack are compared on each line. The majority player gains as many points as the number of Wolves concerned, with a bonus for the majority of Moons.
The first player to win 2 rounds wins the game!
