The Monster Café is off-limits to humans. They say it serves the best coffee in the world! Send monsters to fetch some for you (to the center of the table). If you play your cards right, they'll bring them back to you!
Choose the 5 Monster Families you will play with for this game. Each player draws 10 Monster cards (12 Monster cards for two players). Each player chooses 3 Monster cards and places them face down in front of them, forming their Back Row. Then, simultaneously, players reveal their remaining Monster cards and place them face up in front of them, above their Back Row, thus forming their Front Row. During their turn, a player must perform the following actions: 1 - They choose a Monster card from a Front Row that has more than 3 Monster cards. Either their own or another player's. 2 - They move this Monster card to the center of the table. 3 - They activate the power of this Monster card. A round ends as soon as each player has only 3 Monster cards left in their Front Row. It's time to distribute the Coffee tokens. Monster cards in the Back Rows count double!! This player wins as many Coffee tokens as there are Monster cards of that Family in the center of the table. In case of a tie, no one wins Coffee tokens for that Monster Family. Once all Coffee tokens have been distributed, a new round begins.
