The cards are shuffled and dealt to the players. Each player discards any pairs they have. Once they no longer have any pairs, they try to make new ones by drawing a card from the player to their right's hand.
But watch out for the Old Maid, who's all alone!
The loser is the one left with the Old Maid in their hand, while all other players have managed to get rid of all their cards.
