Watch your step! The souk is bustling: it's the big day for the carpet market! The most skillful merchant will soon be crowned!
Each player is a merchant trying to outdo the others. In turn, each player rolls the dice then moves Assam, the organizer of the sale. If Assam lands on an opponent's carpet, the merchant must pay a tithe to its owner before placing one of their own carpets on an adjacent space. When the last carpet is laid, the visible carpets and the money held by each merchant are totaled: the best one wins!
