You arrive in the valley with just a few coins in your pocket. It's so rich in resources you don't know where to start! Will these grains provide your bread, or will they feed your cow? Beyond the wheat field, you can already imagine your mill turning with the wind.
Discover the DNA of the "Little Town" universe in a clever and streamlined card game, designed by the same authors. Little Factory shares the same philosophy as Little Town: to appropriate a game mechanic and strip it down as much as possible to make it more accessible without sacrificing any of its depth. It's your turn: produce, sell, trade, block your opponents, and collect valuable influence points!
A game of Little Factory starts with a few coins, which players can exchange for their first resources. These are arranged in 3 levels, becoming progressively more complex to obtain. The goal is to progress as quickly as possible through the resources of different levels in order to be able to construct buildings, which will make your task easier, in addition to earning you valuable victory points.
The first player to reach 10 points immediately wins the game.
Players must perform one action per turn: Produce or Trade.
To Produce is to use a resource to obtain a new, more valuable one. Would that spool of thread be useful to you? Then you'll have to discard a cotton card or show that you possess a sheep. And your cow? Will you discard it for its meat or keep it for its milk?
To Trade is to discard cards for their monetary value in order to buy one or more cards during the turn. Trading allows you to obtain crucial resources that would otherwise be inaccessible to you, but also to quickly reorient your strategy if the resources you covet are no longer available.
With a mechanic perfectly synergistic with its theme, Little Factory makes engine-building games particularly intuitive to grasp, and allows for fierce competition. Little Town players will quickly find their bearings in a familiar universe they particularly appreciate.
Who will be the first player to complete their constructions and gain enough influence to claim victory?
