Little Battle takes place in two phases: Recruitment and Treasure Hunt.
To recruit their crew, each player draws a hand of 5 pirate cards. They choose one card to place on their ship and pass the remaining cards to their neighbor. This selection process is repeated until everyone has a full crew.
Players then send their pirates to search for treasure chests. If several pirates covet the same chest, battle will be inevitable. But beware of surprises, not all chests contain the same amount of gold!
