You play as a landscaper commissioned by King Nebuchadnezzar II of Babylon to design the Hanging Gardens for Queen Amytis. Over the course of 4 rounds, you must make the best use of your team of gardeners to create the hanging garden that will most please the royal couple, meaning by scoring more victory points than your opponents.
