Build the tallest Towers in the city in the architects' tournament!
Build the tallest Towers in the city in the architects' tournament!
In each round, reveal 5 cards (which will form the floors of your Towers). Carefully examine these cards and each decide how many cards you are interested in. Then, take turns announcing aloud the number of cards you wish to take. The person who announces the highest number takes the announced number of cards and adds them to their Towers.
Why not just take all the cards? Each of your Towers is built in a specific architectural style, and each of its floors (cards that compose it) must adhere to that style. There are 5 different styles in the game. In addition, the cards of each Tower are placed in descending order (from bottom to top): the more floors you add, the lower the card numbers are.
Therefore, taking all the cards from the market may limit your possibilities.
When the last card has been played, count the points! The architect with the most points wins. Each card in your Towers without a roof earns you 1 point. Each card in your Towers with a roof earns you 2 points. Finally, each card in your main Tower (the tallest) earns you 1 extra point.
Cards that you demolished during the game will cost you points.
