A crime has just been committed! The victim is unable to speak. But they can draw... and help the inspectors guess who among the vast crowd is the culprit!
Last Message is an addictive and clever party game in which a victim tries to put the investigators on the trail of the culprit, hidden among the crowd. It's a cocktail of fun, deduction, speed, observation, and drawing, inviting 3 to 8 players to embody different roles, all equally exciting to play.
The 3 to 8 players are divided into three roles. A victim. A culprit. Investigators. The crime occurred in a crowd, so identifying the culprit will be particularly complex. But fortunately, the victim can still transmit clues to the investigators about the culprit's identity. With an erasable marker in hand, they can write or draw information to identify them on a slate divided into 9 squares. Be careful: the victim only has 30 seconds to compose their message. The slate is then passed... to the culprit.
The culprit, for their part, will do everything to disrupt the victim's message. They therefore have the option of erasing squares from the slate to make the message much harder to understand! The further the game progresses, the fewer squares they can erase, and the more legible the victim's message will reach the investigators. But beware: investigators only have 4 rounds to find the culprit!
Once the slate is in hand, investigators must identify a specific character among 300 others, no less. This means they will have to scrutinize the crime scenes to find every last detail. If they manage to identify the culprit before the end of the 4th round, they win. Otherwise, the culprit wins the game!
Last Message is a game that offers particularly successful components, featuring its 6 illustrations created by artists such as Stéphane Escapa or Vincent Dutrait... Each illustration is a pure visual delight, teeming with characters and details. Players are immersed in very different universes: fantasy, prehistory, superheroes, western, extraterrestrial... The illustrations are of high quality and provide a feeling of total immersion, with very, very numerous details that will (perhaps!) allow the victim to guide the investigators on the right path.
Fun is guaranteed regardless of the role played, and the more games are played, the more subtle the game becomes, as one becomes aware of the many possibilities to mislead the investigators... or to help them. Observation, deduction, and subtlety are on the agenda for a game with infinite replayability, allowing you to try out all roles and all game mechanics.
