In February 1678, Henry Morgan skillfully managed to be appointed Governor of Jamaica. 30 years later, to properly celebrate the jubilee of his appointment, the Grand Challenge was organized, a race around the island at the end of which the crew that had accumulated the most gold in its holds was declared the winner. In Jamaica, each player embodies the captain of a pirate ship who must cross the finish line as quickly as possible, while optimally managing the various resources at their disposal.

Your goal is to finish the game with the largest hoard of gold coins. The game ends when one of the pirate ships crosses the finish line after completing a circuit of Jamaica island.
In each turn, you can perform 2 actions (morning and evening actions): collect food, gold, gunpowder, treasures, move forward or backward on the course... You store all of this in your holds, which are limited. As soon as you encounter an opponent on a square, a battle ensues (with dice) and the winner can pillage one of your holds.
Jamaica is therefore a game where you will have to manage your holds, your movements, and take risks by confronting your opponents. Fun and very enjoyable to play.
