Feudal Japan is torn apart by war. Endless battles, betrayals, broken promises... who are the soldiers really fighting for? Meanwhile, the daimyos scheme, gather their troops, and build fortresses to strengthen their armies. All are fighting for honor and ultimate victory.
In Gunkimono, players embody these daimyos. For each tile you place, decide whether you want to immediately gain victory points by creating unit formations, or if you use them to gain honor points, build your fortresses, or win war banners. Thus, each turn, you will choose to place one of your dominoes while respecting the placement constraints. The dominoes form sets by troop types. You will either gain influence points immediately, or you will fill your honor gauge, which will allow you to build fortresses to secure areas of domination and exclusive bonuses at the end of the game.
