GrandBois is a tile-laying game with secret identities set in a colorful and very family-friendly universe.
At the start of the game, each player randomly receives a card representing one of the 5 available clans (Raccoon, Fox, Lizard, Mouse-Rabbit, Toad-Turtle). This card will remain secret throughout the game.
A river of 4 forest tiles is laid out on the table. In turn, each player chooses one of these tiles to expand the existing forest. The placement rule is simple: you must cover fewer animals than those present on your tile. For example, 3 foxes can be placed on 1 or 2 lizards.
The game ends when all tiles have been placed.
