Foxy, the clever fox, takes you on a journey through 4 environments: the Sea, the Savanna, the Countryside, and the Forest. Observe the animals in their natural habitat, and stay attentive to remember as many animals as possible encountered on your journey.
In the game Foxy, over 20 rounds, each corresponding to a new revealed card, players must:
- Carefully observe the number and types of animals present on the newly revealed card.
- Estimate, based on their memories, how many animals of the same type as those present on the current round's card have appeared since the beginning of the game.
Record the current round's estimate in the corresponding box on your personal board. You will earn that many points at the end of the game... UNLESS you exceed the exact expected value.
In other words, the closer your estimate is to reality, the more points you earn. You can also choose caution and record a slightly lower value, just to be sure not to exceed!
Once per game, you can bet on the accuracy of the value you just recorded by circling it. If it is correct, you double the points scored this round. But be careful, because if it differs from the exact value, you get NO points.
