Having been at war forever, your families have decided it's time to unite into a single kingdom. But who will wear the first crown? The competition will be fierce, how far will you go to ascend to the throne?
For A Crown, the game
Each turn, recruit a mercenary by spending your coins or rubies. Then, slide it into a card sleeve marked with your crest and place it, face down, in the common pile for all players. When recruitment is finished for everyone, the deck is shuffled and cards are drawn one by one, each player applying the power of the cards bearing their crest.
By doing so, gain gold coins or rubies, make your opponents lose them, gain spaces on the influence track, roll the magic die, etc.
In each of the four turns, mercenary cards are added and the deck grows, increasing the effects that will disrupt your opponents' strategies. At the end of the game, the richest player will be crowned and rule the kingdom!
