Fairy Ring
As night falls, the moon illuminates the clearing, and magic begins... colorful mushrooms grow, and fairies wander among them to gather mycelium. Will you be the fairy best prepared for winter?
Fairy Ring, the game
The game is played in two rounds. Each turn, secretly play one of your Mushroom cards (everyone starts with 7), then pass the others to your neighbor. The played cards are revealed simultaneously and placed on your village board, adding new mushrooms or growing existing ones. But the spaces played by all players also form the path on which your fairy token moves! If it lands on one of your mushrooms, it's a big harvest. If it lands on an opponent's mushroom, they harvest, but you'll still gain some mycelium if you have mushrooms of the same type in your village. You can only hope that as many fairies as possible land on your mushrooms.
Then choose a card from those passed by your neighbor and start a new turn until all cards are exhausted. After an identical second round, the winner is the one whose village has harvested the most mycelium.
It's possible to add objectives with three double-sided tiles, to give even more of a challenge.
