The island of Catan continues its journey toward prosperity. After a certain resurgence in its population, the inhabitants of Catan are facing a barbarian invasion of unprecedented scale. Negotiations for resources become more important as there are more inhabitants and knights. The struggle on Catan is no longer just a question of commercial supremacy, illustrated by the presence of a metropolis; you will now have to distinguish yourself in the defense of Catan to win. This expansion is not a complete game. You will need the following Catan collection titles: Catan, Catan – 5/6 Player Extension, and Cities & Knights. This version of Cities & Knights 5/6 Player Extension is only compatible with the Catan and Cities & Knights versions that include plastic pieces.
