You are the ruler of a peaceful, green kingdom. You dream of expanding this kingdom and making it larger and richer. You need a true Dominion! By uniting the many anarchic fiefdoms around you under your banner, you will bring them peace and civilization. But other monarchs share your ambitions. You must act quickly to acquire as much land as possible!
To achieve your goals, you will recruit retainers, construct buildings, maintain the comfort of your castle, and fill your treasury coffers.
In Dominion, each player starts with a small, identical deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards that players can "buy" as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and the way they play their hands, players build their deck on the fly, striving to find the most efficient path to the precious victory points at the end of the game.
