District Noir is a game that requires tactical skills, as you'll need to manage your hand of cards as effectively as possible. The cards you hold in your hand are first placed in the center of the table, making them available for both you and your opponent to pick up. You'll also need a good sense of timing: which cards do I play and in what order? When do I pick up cards? District Noir is also a game of risk-taking and bluffing. You'll need to try and lead your opponent to make bad choices. Finally, there's a real tension that builds, as players can sometimes win immediately by collecting certain cards. But what remains most interesting is that you can experience this gameplay in games lasting only 15 minutes, with extremely simple rules.
