Many things have changed since the discovery of the island of Catan. Now, development forces the inhabitants to face another great challenge: managing their energy needs.
You'll realize how easy it is to use fossil fuels and build power plants dedicated to them. But the further you progress in the game, the more crucial the transition to renewable energies will become! While these are more expensive, they have a positive effect on your environmental balance and therefore on the quality of life in Catan.
In this new iteration of the classic board game, your decisions will have a significant impact on the course of the game. Too much pollution can end the game prematurely; play competitively, but avoid losing all together! And if that weren't enough, unexpected events will disrupt your plans.
