Cascadia is a tile-laying and token-drafting game featuring habitats and wildlife. As the game progresses, players build their own land area and populate it with available wildlife. Players must create a diverse and harmonious ecosystem, as each species has habitat preferences, and each habitat must be placed judiciously to reduce fragmentation and score as many points as possible.
Cascadia offers a two-stage puzzle that evolves over time as habitats and wildlife are added to each player's ecosystem. Players score points by creating the most harmonious, but also the largest, wildlife areas.
