Will the tribal chief succeed in saving his village with the help of his four dogs? Otherwise, the bisons will cross the river... and win this game of chess!
In the tactical game Bison, the two players have different goals: the player controlling the bison aims to get one of their animals to the other side of the board. The other player's goal is to prevent them from passing by catching them with their Indian chief or by stopping them with their dogs.
Place the 11 bison on one side of the game, in a straight line behind one of the rivers, and, just in front of the other river, place the Indian chief with his dogs on either side. Bison move like pawns in chess, dogs like queens but cannot capture bison, and the Indian chief like a king, he can capture bison. The bison begin...
At the end of the round, roles are swapped. The first to win a round on both sides wins the game.
