Easy to play and pleasant to handle, Biomos proves tactical in its 3 game modes (discovery, advanced, and solo) with always the same objective: develop the greatest biodiversity! Pleasant and contemplative, the game sensations match its theme.
Embody young planets developing more or less peacefully in a galaxy far, far away. As your first billion years approach, you all set yourselves a titanic challenge: develop life!
Players will choose a Terrain token from those available in the center of the table. They must place it in a free space on their planet board to try to validate Biome cards by creating patterns identical to those requested.
Each in turn:
1. We choose a Terrain token from those available in the center of the table
2. We place the chosen Terrain token in a free space on our Planet board
3. We validate Biome cards by creating patterns identical to those requested
To create tension during the game, you must form a Moon, which triggers 2 important effects: the possibility of lifting an already placed Terrain token and the possibility of scoring bonus points at the end of the game. There is also an Advanced mode that allows planetary events to be triggered to: irrigate a desert, freeze water, break ice, etc.
Biomos introduces a new original sliding mechanism created for it. This allows for physical manipulation of terrain tokens in the slots of the boards, an eminently relaxing activity while other people play their turn.
The game board of Biomos offers 1 Discovery side for the general public with simple rules for quick and hassle-free games, and 1 Advanced side for initiated players offering additional rules that provide a control tree. A Solo mode is also available with a dedicated card where you face the terrible Black Hole.
