Allegra is a game inspired by the card game "Golf" played in English-speaking countries. This semi-cooperative variant of the card game offers a unique gameplay experience thanks to the "knock" action, which adds a communicative element. What's more, the game's principle is astonishing: each player has 12 cards in front of them, but still plays with 15...
Indeed, in the game Allegra, you play with a square of cards (3 x 4 cards) placed in front of you, but you share your last column with the player to your right. You must also take into account the last column of the player to your left.
On your turn, you draw the top card from the draw pile or the discard pile, then swap it with one of your own. The objective is to have the fewest points at the end of the game.
At any time, other players can "knock" the revealed card, meaning they can ask to swap it with one of theirs. By creating columns or rows of identical cards, you can discard cards!
Once a player has revealed all their cards, the end of the game is triggered and everyone's points are counted. The player with the lowest score wins the game.
