Heroes are useful as they earn you victory points. Sometimes, a hero's score depends on your buildings, terrains, or fortifications; some heroes also provide you with additional villagers. You can pass immediately after taking your turn if you are ready to end the current round. If you cannot do anything on your turn, you must pass. Take a new artifact from those available, then return your old artifact.
