les-loups-garous-de-thiercelieux
The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow

What, you don't know Thiercelieux? Such a pretty little village in the east, well sheltered from wind and cold, nestled between charming forests and good pastures. The inhabitants of Thiercelieux are amiable peasants, happy with their tranquility and proud of their work. Around them, you'll find characters as diverse as a seer, a witch, a thief, the captain (who constantly rambles), Cupid (who binds hearts and romances), and even a little girl with charming pigtails. Yet, at night, the peaceful village is invaded by werewolves who catch and devour the peasants one by one. If no one reacts, the entire village is threatened! Work hard, take pains, that's what's least lacking... The Werewolves of Thiercelieux features a fascinating and unprecedented game system, of formidable simplicity! Each player receives a character card (with a very specific function or particularity) while the werewolf or werewolves are designated in secret. One of the players does not receive a card. They will be the game master and will have the privilege of witnessing the actions of all other players. At each turn of the game, the game master announces that night falls. Then, all players close their eyes and can only open them when they are called or when dawn breaks. Then, the master calls the different characters one by one so that they can use their powers or perform their actions. The werewolves can devour villagers, the little girl can spy on them, the witch prepares magic potions, and the seer can even uncover the true identity of a player. When everyone has acted, the master announces that day is breaking. The various events of the night are then resolved. The werewolves may have devoured villagers, the hunter will certainly have killed one of them or even an innocent, the thief will certainly have concocted some scheme, and Cupid will surely have chosen targets for his arrows. Beware, every morning the villagers vote to eliminate one of them whom they believe to be a werewolf. Everyone must argue according to their interests! Eliminated players remain silently around the table; they, too, will have the privilege of witnessing all events. The game continues until the werewolves are eliminated or the village is emptied of its inhabitants. The villagers win if they have eliminated all the werewolves, the werewolves if they have devoured all the villagers. The Werewolves of Thiercelieux is a game by Philippe des Pallières and Hervé Marly, illustrated by Alexios Tjoyas. It is published by himself."

Contents

- 1 rulebook
- 24 cards representing the different roles: seer, witch, or even the terrible werewolves!

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0612/2808/9507/products/image_258b66c9-5c81-4d6a-ade4-ff3319aae3a9.jpg?v=1671055168
